Due to the rising costs of steel materials, pricing will fluctuate accordingly. Currently, steel has never been more expensive in the United States. Our newly "elected" officials are not going to make things easy, either.

I will do my best to keep pricing fair for you and me. You will still receive a custom shipping quote for every order as we are getting creative on ways to save you money there, too.

These are recommended distances for your safety and prolonged life of the target. If your rifle round is not listed, you can start at 300 yards and work your way in to determine minimum distance.

Tips & Advice

Always wear hearing protection while shooting firearms
Always wear A.N.S.I. approved shooting glasses
It is a good idea for all shooters and personnel on the range to wear a long sleeve shirt and long pants where steel targets are being used to reduce potential injury from lead and jacket particles.
Only one shooter at a time should be allowed to shoot at auto-reset targets.
Never shoot targets at an angle, always line up 90° perpendicular to the target plate.
Use only high quality duty/service ammunition when shooting steel targets. Use only non-jacketed or copper-jacketed lead bullets when shooting handguns at steel targets.
These targets are designed for multiple caliber rounds. The .223 rounds will not produce much motion from the target. An audible sound will still be produced by the steel plate even if it does not move noticeably from the shooters position.
Never shoot Armor Piercing, steel core or hardened type ammunition at any steel target!
No Shotgun slugs! Shotgun lead birdshot and buckshot ammunition may be used.
Recommended minimum distances from steel targets to shooter are 10 yards for pistols and 50 yards for rifles. Spectators should stand 10 yards behind the shooter.
Use only properly constructed firing range with adequate backstop height and adequate down range safety area. Locate the steel targets as close to the backstop as possible to help reduce the ricochet and fragment splatter.
Discontinue the use of any close range (less than 75 yards) steel target that has surface craters caused by wear or improper use on the steel target impact area.
If you follow these guidelines you should receive the maximum life span and safe enjoyment from your investment.
