From the firing line this Plate Rack looks like any other. It is not. Three-time Industry Choice Award winner, Innovative Targets, has set yet another bar in the steel target industry.
All of the components pivot via our NSD Rotation System. There are six 8" plates cut from 3/8" AR500 steel that will disappear when struck. The weight of the plates can easily be adjusted for any firearm platform.
Once the rack has been defeated, it can be reset by pulling the provided woven "low-stretch" rope. This pull is below the center of gravity for the target system, which cannot be tipped over. The provided bungee will ensure that your reset bar falls to neutral.
The armor that protects the heart of this unit is also cut from 3/8" AR500 steel at no extra charge. There is a gap between the armor and the target plates allowing bullet splash to pass to the earth without causing excessive wear on the target system. This armor bolts on at a fixed 10-degree angle towards the shooter, which means it is reversible and replaceable like all Innovative Targets plates.
The legs and feet are also removable, and that helps make this unit easily portable. (The legs are mild steel and considered expendable, but this material can be sourced locally with minimal effort.) The feet boast a 48" x 76" stance for maximum stability.
This target system is already well under 300 lbs. The plates can be removed by simple hairpins saving about 45lbs. A 3/4" wrench will remove the armor and legs shedding over 100lbs.
Finally, there is a plate rack that is reliable and portable.
